"Ode to grandfather"

I didn't know my grandfather, nor did I have much of a creative mentor in my life, so I had to imagine them. Isamu Noguchi was one of my imaginary mentors during my first attempt at lighting. I was directly inspired by his paper lanterns, in particular his more sculptural ones. I stood on his shoulder, and it enabled me to see beyond. I quickly realised the possibilities of lighting and have not stopped exploring this endless landscape since. Thank you Isamu, and the family for continuing his important legacy and continuing to inspire today.
